Joe was first introduced to CAD Works (now Mitchell Dryers) back in 2009 when he was part of an engineering after school project (F1 in Schools) that the business had helped sponsor. Joe approached CAD Works regarding a placement in design engineering for his work experience in his last year of school.
In August 2011, Joe was offered his apprenticeship under the CAD Works name as an apprentice draughtsperson and was enrolled onto a BTEC level 3 diploma, followed by a Level 4 Higher National Certificate and finally a Level 5 Higher National Diploma, which he completed in 2016.
On receiving his long service award Joe said, ‘as part of my career I’ve been lucky to work on numerous projects throughout the UK and further afield, designing solutions, measuring Plant Equipment, producing manufacturing drawings and installing Mitchell Dryers equipment.’
Joe primarily works in 2D and 3D CAD Design Software with now over 10 years of experience.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication Joe.
