Mitchell Dryers Ltd provides general engineering and manufacturers drying, calcining, process plant and equipment to the chemical, mineral, pharmaceutical, waste to energy and food industries, worldwide.

Our current vacancy is for an experienced/graduate full time Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and ensure works carried out in accordance with necessary specifications.

You will be responsible for the technical delivery of engineering and manufacturing projects from conception through to completion.

The apprenticeship programme will last a minimum of 42 months with day release to the training provider. You will serve your time within all areas the workshop, with an aim to progress into the design office. Mitchell Dryers Ltd is a strong believer in learning all areas of the manufacturing process to build on the knowledge for the job required.

The role is centred on work-based learning alongside the trainer and by the end of the programme, you will have gained valuable on the job experience, new skills, and an industry recognised accreditation/qualification, that will offer you the opportunity to build a rewarding and successful career in the engineering sector.

This apprenticeship is ideal for candidates looking to pursue an engineering design career. 

Our current vacancy is for an experienced full time Chemical Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and ensure works are carried out in accordance with necessary specifications. This role is to provide technical support within an existing engineering team.

The successful candidate will Ideally have experience of working within a capital project team and delivering multi-disciplinary solutions. A wide experience, including diverse engineering fields would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible individual who is fully conversant with QHSE processes and procedures existing law. Your work will be largely focused on prevention, so you need to be conscientious and farsighted. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies.

The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to engagement of health and safety and environmental issues.

As a Design Draughtsperson you work as part of the design office team at Mitchell Dryers, using your engineering skills to produce high quality technical drawings for the manufacture of wide range of drying equipment and general engineering solutions. The precision drawings produced by the design office accurately convey information that ensures Mitchell Dryer’s and clients projects produce high quality results every time.

The role reports to the Projects Manager and works under the daily supervision of the Senior Design Draughtsperson.

As part of the operations department, you will play a vital role in Mitchell Dryers Ltd financial buying operations. You will work with the Project Engineers to order materials required at the best costs while maintaining a high-quality standard in a reasonable time.

This is a fast paced and challenging role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines along with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own.
